The Essential #Moodle 2.0 Repository

If you are running any Moodle 2+ install on a local server one of the most important things to do is set up a “file system repository”.  This allows you to upload files of any size into the system without having to modify server settings.  I’ve found it essential when running course backups, but it is also useful for large SCORM packages and video files if you don’t want to use Youtube or other 3rd party service.

This video comes from Gavin Henrick, whose blog is here http://www.somerandomthoughts.com/blog/.
